Annual Maritime History Conclave

Maritime History Society in collaboration with the School of National Security Studies, Central University of Gujarat organized the Annual Maritime History Conclave on 27 November 2021 over two sessions. The theme of the conclave was “Early and Medieval History of Maritime India”.
The first part of the conclave included the inaugural session, the First Session on Indian Nautical Knowledge, and the Special Session of prize distribution for the Late Admiral JG Nadkarni memorial Essay competition and Kalasagar video-making competition.

The second part of the conclave included the Session on Historical Narratives of Maritime Security of India and the Valedictory Session that concluded the event with a valedictory address by Vice Admiral AR Karve (Retd) and Vote of Thanks by Rear Admiral Atul Anand, Flag Officer Commanding Maharashtra Naval Area.
